Life at the Ewing household has been crazy to say the least. The last few months we moved, went on vacation, celebrated our third anniversary, enrolled Talon in his second year of preschool as well as t-ball, and said goodbye to my sweet Grandma Telford.
.:: Jake & Belle ::.
We both are working hard as ever at our jobs. While I love mine, the majority of the time that is, and continue to work ridiculous hours, Jake's on the other hand is the exact opposite. Some days he enjoys his job and those are usually the days his boss is out of town. Which is really unfortunate because he is really good at what he does. Outside of work Jake enjoys playing softball three, four times a week in three different leagues, ball every Thursday, and going to the gym when he can. Being the person that I am I have to remind him weekly that he is pretty lucky because I don't know any married fathers that are involved in many extracurricular activities as he is. I, of course continue to forget that there are only 24 hours in a day so me working ten hours and running errands, making dinner, spending time with family, going here and going there, organizing, cleaning, blogging, and crafting is just not possible. But I do my best and my crazy self gets as much of that in my day as possible. Just recently I diagnosed myself with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. And I'm finally getting answers as to why I am just not capable of doing certain things!! Lighbulb! Everything is now making sense. I haven't been diagnosed by a psychiatrist but its in the works.
.:: Talon ::.
Talon continues to impress and surprise us with his intelligence and kind heart! He seriously is the perfect brother for our Tatum. He is kind, warm, loving, and so supportive! Not only is he all that but he is also our little allstar. He currently participated in his second year of t-ball. And this time around he actually participated and was more active, which was a different story six months prior. Comparing the two seasons is seriously night and day. This time around he was hitting the ball, not from the tee but actually from a pitcher. He ran bases, he went after the ball, and most importantly he had a good time!
He currently is attending preschool a few days a week and he loves loves looovveeess it! He enjoys the lessons, the students, and his three teachers. The head teacher is actually the same preschool teacher Jake had 23 years ago! How crazy but seriously precious is that!
.:: Tatum ::.
Our Tatum is always full of joy and spunk. No matter where this girl is, or who she is with, she is constantly singing or making some form of noise. There are no dull moments or even quiet moments with her around. She continues to put a smile on our faces whenever she is talking. She's very dramatic and enthusiastic, and her facial expressions are priceless when she speaks. Her fun personality lightens up our day! She wishes she could go to preschool with Talon but is not able to since she is not potty trained. And most likely will not be for awhile since she is not at all interested.
It's going down...I'm yelling TINDER!
